First Phase of R&D (January 2013 – December 2013)  SofMat investigated the potential scale of the global market for it’s product and obtained feedback from potential customers.  The outcome was, although the micron scale batch markings and subsequent identification were of interest, a method of producing a unique code on products during manufacture would be more applicable.
